Design, Supply & Installation for Arghandi – Syedabad – Ghazni 220kV Double Circuit, Twin Conductor Bundled Transmission Line.

The scope of the project was to construct

  • 111Km long 220kV Double Circuit, Twin Bundled Transmission line from Arghandi/Kabul to Syedabad/Ghazni on behalf of KEC Int’l.

It includes construction of foundations for,

  • Erection of 423 lattice steel towers,
  • 423 towers, Grounding works,
  • Stringing of ACSR Zebra (Twin per phase) & 24 Fiber OPGW, splicing, clamping, Testing & Commissioning.
  • Stringing of 220 KV D/C T/Line Chimtala-Arghandi

It includes,

  • 28km

Date of Start: April, 2015

Date of Completion: January, 2016

 

The transmission line was successfully Energized on 19th September 2017.
