NETRACON Technologies took another step in Tajikistan to undertake & complete 500kV GIS replacing the aging AIS 500kV switchyard equipment for 3000MW Hydropower Station, Nurek, Tajikistan on behalf of ALSTOM (GE).

Conversion of 220kV AIS Switchyard to 220kV GIS
The scope included civil works, installation, testing, and commissioning of 220kV GIS after replacing the old AIS Switchgear.
The job for conversion of 220kV AIS Switchyard to GIS for 3000MW Nurek Hydropower plant was executed by NETRACON Technologies in 2013. In addition to this, installation of new peaks for 220kV OHTL & stringing of OPGW from Nurek to Dushanbe was carried out at a very fast pace. 220kV Feeder line bays replacement was carried out on seven opposite substations for Alstom.
