Construction of 220kV Ghazni Substation was executed on behalf of KEC Int’l (DABS 92-ICB-004). The following facilities were developed under the project:

- Site improvement by Developing a Steep Hilly site into terraces by constructing 2.5 KM long RCC/Stone Masonry (Av: 4 M high) Retaining walls. 1.6 Km long Boundary Wall & 0.96 Km long Switchyard Fence
- Construction of Control Hosue Building, Equipment Foundations, 758 M long Cable Trenches, Walk Ways (1.6 Km long) & 3.33 Km long Drainage system lines.
- Provision of HVAC, Indoor/Outdoor Lighting System, Fire Fighting along with Fire Alarm arrangements.
- Installation of Four (4) Line Bays (CTs / VTs / CBs / Line Disconnectors / Bus Disconnectors)
- Installation of Three (3) Trafo Bays (CTs / VTs / CBs / Line Disconnectors / Bus Disconnectors)
- Installation of Three (3) Transformers 10/13 MVA
- Testing and commissioning of all High Voltage Equipment and the Overhead Busbar system
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of MV Switchgear – 20 KV (2 + 17), Station Auxiliary AC/DC supply systems
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of Control & Protection System
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of Substation Automation System.
- Installation, testing, and commissioning Telecom and RTU
