About Project

Netracon Technologies is performing a unique type of work in history of power sector to upgrade the protection and monitoring system of (09) Nine 500kV & 220kV Gridstations in south area. The project involve replacement of old relays of 70/80s with Modern numerical Distance Relays (SEL-421) as with built in auto- recloser, OC/EF & Thermal overload relays (SEL-751), Transformer Differential & REF relays ( SEL-787) and Under Frequency (UF) relays.
Installation of new Digital Fault recorder (DFR) and Event recorder (ER) System at Ten (10) respective NTDC Gridstations is also part of his project. This involves integration of new DFR/ER system with all protection and control system of the Gridstation. The new DFR/ER system features; recording management software based on real-time database platform, High reliability design, Flexible communication mode with independent Ethernet interfaces and independent RS-485 communication interfaces. Power industry communication standard IEC60870-5-103 and new generation substation communication standard IEC61850 are supported for integration with SAS in future.
